About this grant
The Agri-Tech Grant Scheme supports innovative Agri-Tech startups in Tamil Nadu through financial assistance aimed at fostering development and scaling. The scheme offers two funding tiers: Up to ₹10 lakh for early-stage startups developing agricultural innovations. Up to ₹25 lakh for startups seeking market expansion in the agriculture sector. The program focuses on solutions in crop, livestock, and fisheries domains. Startups working on ready-to-eat products are specifically excluded from the scheme. This initiative is implemented by the Department of Agricultural Marketing & Agri Business, Government of Tamil Nadu, with StartupTN as the ecosystem partner.

Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- Startup must have DPIIT certificate and headquartered in Tamil Nadu.
- Should be a registered Private Limited Company, LLP, or Partnership firm.
- Average profit in the last three years must be less than ₹5 lakh.
- Must be working on innovation, development, or improvement of agricultural products or processes.
- Startup should not be formed by splitting or reconstructing an existing business.
- At least 51% shareholding must be held by Indian promoters.
- Startups working on ready-to-eat products are eligible.

- Fill in the application and scan the completed documents.
- For assistance, contact the District Deputy Director of Agriculture (Agri Business) in the respective district.

How to apply
- 1Check eligibility as a DPIIT-recognized startup headquartered in Tamil Nadu, registered as Pvt Ltd/LLP/Partnership, with average profit below ₹5 lakh in the last 3 years, working in agri innovation (crop, livestock, or fisheries, excluding ready-to-eat).

- 3Complete the form, scan it, and email it to agrimarkstartuptech@gmail.com, while checking for any deadline extensions beyond Dec 31, 2025.
- 4Contact the District Deputy Director (Agri Business) for any queries.
- 5Eligible startups can receive funding up to ₹10 lakh for early-stage support or ₹25 lakh for market expansion.
