About this grant

The AIC IIT Delhi-Honda Road Safety & Mobility Innovation Program (Bharat Safety) is a 2-year incubation initiative launched by AIC IIT Delhi Sonipat Innovation Foundation and Honda India. It aims to nurture startups building breakthrough solutions in critical road safety challenges. The program follows a structured approach from nationwide outreach and startup selection to bootcamps, mentoring, and full incubation of top innovators. The thematic areas include: Collision Prevention & Rider Assistance, Helmet Compliance & Smart Safety Gear, Rider Behaviour & Speed Management, and Visibility & Night-Time Safety. The program empowers technology-led social impact through AI, IoT, and sensor-driven technologies. Selected startups receive free incubation at AIC IIT Delhi for up to 2 years, mentorship, technical support from HONDA, government and investor connect opportunities, and commercialization support.
