About this grant

With a total budget of €10.6M, this call provides grants of up to €1M to strengthen disaster resilience and cooperation both within the Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) and with third-party partners. By funding these initiatives, the Commission intends to overcome the challenges posed by cross-border hazards—such as wildfires, floods, and pandemics—which occur regardless of national boundaries. Successful proposals must demonstrate a clear plan for enhancing interoperability between organizations and sectors, ultimately resulting in a more coordinated and technologically advanced disaster risk management framework across Europe.
