Conformance with the Egg Regulatory Program Standards

About this grant

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to advance efforts for a nationally integrated food regulatory system by assisting state egg regulatory programs to achieve and maintain full conformance with the Egg Regulatory Program Standards (ERPS). The ERPS Cooperative Agreement will provide funding for state egg regulatory programs to: 1. Develop a plan to fully implement the Standards (ERPS) within five years of first receiving funding. 2. Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

• Only the following state egg regulatory programs will be eligible to apply: Current FDA egg inspection contract states or those willing to enter into a contract in 2025 are eligible to apply for funding under this cooperative agreement. Entering into this agreement will also require a current long-term 20.88 information sharing agreement and the expectation of full conformance with the standards a
