How to apply

1. 1Develop Proposal: Define clear objectives such as enabling interoperable data sharing, enhancing cross-border research collaboration, improving data discoverability, and ensuring long-term sustainability within EOSC ecosystem
2. 2Develop Proposal: Specify expected outcomes including increased data reuse, improved research efficiency, standardized metadata adoption, and strengthened trust in shared digital infrastructures
3. 3Develop Proposal: Identify adoption cases such as multidisciplinary research data exchange, public sector data integration, climate and environmental data analytics, and AI/ML-ready FAIR datasets
4. 4Develop Proposal: Establish governance frameworks including multi-stakeholder governance boards, data stewardship roles, access control policies, ethical oversight mechanisms, and auditability procedures
5. 5Demonstrate Compliance: Ensure alignment with EU digital and data legislation including GDPR, Data Governance Act, Data Act, Open Data Directive, and EU Cybersecurity Act
6. 6Demonstrate Compliance: Apply FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) through metadata standards, persistent identifiers, and open interoperability protocols
