About this grant

The Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme is a flagship initiative by the Maharashtra State Innovation Society aimed at empowering women-led startups across the state of Maharashtra. The scheme provides early to growth-stage financial assistance to innovative startups founded and led by women entrepreneurs. Through direct grant support, the program seeks to strengthen inclusive entrepreneurship, promote innovation-led businesses, and help women founders scale their ventures sustainably. By supporting eligible startups with non-dilutive funding, the scheme enables founders to strengthen product development, expand operations, and move their ideas to the next stage of growth while contributing to Maharashtra’s innovation ecosystem.

Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

• The startup must be DPIIT-recognized and registered in the state of Maharashtra
• Women founders must hold more than 51% equity stake in the company
• The startup must have been operational for more than one year
• The startup should have been registered with MCA before 20th November 2024
• The annual revenue of the startup must be between INR 10 lakhs and INR 1 crore
• The women-led startup must not have availed any other financial grant from the Government of Maharashtra
• The startup should demonstrate innovation and potential for scalable growth

• Startups are required to submit complete company and founder details through the online form
• Applicants must provide information related to incorporation, DPIIT recognition, shareholding pattern, and revenue details
• Relevant supporting documents may be required during the application process
• All submitted applications undergo a detailed evaluation and assessment by the designated committee
• Shortlisted startups are informed by the authorities for further communication and grant processing
