The CCE Challenge is developing a platform aimed at creating a trusted marketplace for selling, buying and licensing digitised cultural and creative assets.

Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- The opportunity is open to UK-based organisations with either standard or non-standard eligibility.
- Organisations with non-standard eligibility may include charities, non-governmental organisations, government departments, third sector organisations, social enterprises, and other educational establishments such as colleges that do not usually undertake research activities.
- Applicants may apply before eligibility checks are completed, but funding will only be awarded after the required checks have been successfully passed.
- Organisations may be asked to begin eligibility checks before the funding decision is made.
- The fund is designed to support early content providers joining the CCE platform.
- Priority is given to content from large cultural organisations, including galleries, libraries, archives, and museums.
- Eligible content may include video, audio, images, text, mixed media, and datasets.
- Organisations that previously received funding through the 'Launch Partners Fund (invite-only)' opportunity are not eligible to apply.
- International applicants and researchers based outside the UK are not eligible to apply in any capacity.

How to apply
- 1Confirm that you are the project lead.
- 2Sign in to the Funding Service or create a new account.
- 3Select your organisation, verify your email address, and set a password when creating an account.
- 4Complete the application questions in the Funding Service.
- 5Upload any required supporting documents according to the Funding Service instructions.
- 6Review the application in read-only view before submission.
- 7Submit the completed application to your research office for checking.
- 8Make any necessary edits requested by the research office.
- 9Have your research office submit the final application to UKRI.
