Research Training Groups in the Mathematical Sciences

About this grant

The long-range goal of the Research Training Groups in the Mathematical Sciences (RTG) program is to strengthen the nation's scientific competitiveness by increasing the number of well-prepared U.S. citizens, nationals, and permanent residents who pursue careers in the mathematical sciences, be they in academia, government, or industry. Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

• *Who May Submit Proposals: Proposals may only be submitted by the following: - Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) accredited in, and having a campus located in the US, acting on behalf of their faculty members. For proposals submitted by a single U.S.-based IHE, with or without subawards, it is required that the proposing IHE grant a doctoral degree in the mathematical sciences. For collabora
