How to apply

1. 1Submit the application online by the stated deadline, ensuring sufficient time is allowed for completion and accounting for potential technical issues due to high system demand on ScholarOne deadline dates
2. 2Ensure category compliance by confirming that applications may be submitted to more than one category only if they are on different subjects, and that the same application cannot be reused across categories
3. 3Prepare and upload a single consolidated PDF file via ScholarOne Manuscripts containing all required documents, including the application form, CV, signed declaration, scientific abstract, and lay summary
4. 4Copy abstract and lay summary text from the PDF into the corresponding online system fields as required by the submission platform
5. 5Ensure full electronic signatures are included in the uploaded application, noting that hard copy submissions are no longer required
6. 6Submit the NIAA Grants EDI data capture form separately by email as part of the application requirements
7. 7Ensure timely submission as late electronic applications will not be accepted, and applicants are responsible for completing uploads before the deadline
