About this grant

Sickle Cell Disease Regional Care Excellence Program (SoRCE) is to improve the health of people with sickle cell disease (SCD) by expanding access to care, improving the quality of care, and tracking quality of life indicators. There are approximately 100,000 people in the United States with SCD. Treatment starting in early childhood can prevent or reduce complications such as severe pain episodes, silent strokes, and premature death. Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Hospitals or clinicsHealth centers.Documentation must be provided to demonstrate that your organization has at least five years of experience in working with individuals who have sickle cell disease (SCD).​
