Startup Srujan Seed Support (S4) – Cohort 3
Administered by Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS)
About this grant
Startup Srujan Seed Support (S4) is a flagship grant initiative implemented by the Gujarat Student Startup and Innovation Hub (i-Hub) under the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP 2.0) of the Education Department, Government of Gujarat. As part of the state’s broader vision to create a holistic innovation ecosystem integrating industry, academia, and government, SSIP 2.0 has allocated a substantial corpus to support early-stage innovators and startups across Gujarat. The S4 program is specifically designed to help young innovators transition from Proof of Concept (PoC) to product and market stage. It provides financial assistance ranging from ₹2.5 lakh to ₹10 lakh to enable prototype development, validation, product refinement, and early commercialization activities. The initiative aims to reduce financial barriers for student innovators and early founders, empowering them to transform creative ideas into scalable ventures. Through i-Hub’s structured ecosystem support, beneficiaries gain access to mentorship, institutional backing, and innovation resources that complement the financial grant. The program covers innovators across a wide educational spectrum—from school students to doctoral scholars, alumni, and even dropouts—ensuring inclusive participation in Gujarat’s innovation movement. Startup Srujan Seed Support (S4) strengthens Gujarat’s startup landscape by fostering early-stage experimentation, validation, and venture building among youth under 35 years of age. By targeting innovators at ideation, MVP, and early stages, the program seeks to accelerate innovation-led entrepreneurship and build a strong pipeline of product-ready ventures emerging from the state’s educational and startup ecosystem.
