About this grant

The Bin Trim Rebates Program provides NSW businesses with free waste assessments and rebates to help cover the costs of installing small-scale, on-site recycling equipment.

Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

• Nsw businesses and organisations.
• Businesses must:
• Have a commercial and industrial (c&i) waste service at a site in nsw
• Have a valid australian business number (abn) and employ one or more full-time employees in nsw
• Send c&i waste to landfill in nsw or process/recycle c&i waste generated by businesses.

• Funding and resources for act screen practitioners
• Travel allowance for rural and regional south australian businesses hiring and training apprentices

What the funding covers

• Rebates of up to $50K to cover up to 50% of the capital costs.

How to apply

1. 1Confirm readiness: Ensure you meet criteria (e.g., ABN, turnover limits, GST registration), align project objectives with grant goals, and estimate time for evidence gathering and writing.
