Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Northern Territory businesses wanting to protect their premises from break-ins.
  • Overview
  • Businesses can apply for multiple security upgrades per premises, with a funding cap of $15,000 (GST exclusive) per location.
  • Eligible works will either be standard or non-standard works.
  • Standard works include, but are not limited to:
  • lock works and hardware
  • glass replacement with secure alternatives
  • duress alarm
  • outdoor security and sensors lighting
  • security screens
  • lockable fencing.
  • Non-standard works require a
  • security audit
  • and must be recommended through the Biz Secure program. These include:
  • CCTV
  • access key fobs
  • smoke blankets
  • landscaping.
  • Check if you can apply
  • To be eligible, your business must:
  • be a Territory Enterprise (for-profit or not-for-profit), a landowner (landlord), or a body corporate under the
  • Unit Titles Act (NT) 1975
  • hold a valid Australian business number (ABN)
  • own or lease premises in the NT
  • have at least one Territory Enterprise actively trading from the premises
  • be fully compliant with relevant legal obligations.
