About this grant

The Co-funded Exploration Drilling Program provides explorers with funding for up to 50% of exploratory drilling costs.

Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

• The co-funded exploration drilling program provides explorers with co-funding to undertake exploratory drilling.
• Funding is for exploration drilling only and may not be used for:
• Appraisal, stimulation and development drilling
• The development of new uranium mines.
• Co-funding of up to 50% of direct drilling cost is available and is capped at:
• $180,000 for general multi-hole applications
• $220,000 for a single deep-hole application
• $40,000 for a prospector application.
• Have an australian business number (abn)
• Back to work incentive payments
• Low interest loans for nsw farmers
• Funding for activities that support the welfare of companion animals and wildlife
• Get investment to develop and commercialise your biomedical discoveries

What the funding covers

• Up to $220K.

How to apply

1. 1Confirm readiness: Ensure you meet criteria (e.g., ABN, turnover limits, GST registration), align project objectives with grant goals, and estimate time for evidence gathering and writing.
2. 2Gather evidence: Collect documents like financials, business plans, market research, project budgets, resumes, risk analysis, and support letters to prove capability and impact.
3. 3Register/log in: Obtain an Australian Business Number (ABN) if needed, sign into the relevant portal (e.g., Business Grants Hub portal), and note any prerequisites like advisory service reports.
4. 4Prepare and write application: Address all selection criteria clearly (project details, government alignment, costs, outcomes, benefits); keep concise, factual, and compelling; validate for completeness.
