Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Formally established for public benefit and not for profit
  • Must have governing document
  • Minimum of 3 unrelated people on committee
  • Own bank account requiring 2 signatories
  • CEF primarily for voluntary/community sector including charities, constituted community groups, CICs, social enterprises
  • BLEF primarily for organisations with formal objectives supporting local business/tourism development

What the funding covers

  • CEF Local: up to £75K for quality of life and environment projects
  • CEF Strategic: £75.0K to £250K for large projects across several communities
  • BLEF: £10K to £250K for local economy support
