Key facts
Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- All landowners, land managers and public bodies can apply
- Land must be entirely within England
- Under applicant's management control for full duration of agreement
- Must create woodland of at least 1 hectare
- Minimum width of 20 metres (10 metres for riparian buffers and shelterbelts)
What the funding covers
- Up to £10.2K per hectare to create woodland
- Up to £12.7K in additional payments for community, nature recovery or environmental contributions
