This program provides funding for projects that clean-up, restore, recover from or monitor the long-term impacts to environment, heritage and cultural assets that were impacted by flooding associated with ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie.
Key facts
Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- Organisations and primary producers affected by flooding associated with ex-tropical cyclone ellie.
- Funding is available for projects that are focused on recovering environmental, heritage and cultural assets that were impacted by the floods associated with ex-tropical cyclone ellie.
- 2 streams of funding are available:
- Small project grants – funding of between $10,000 and $100,000, maximum $50,000 for clean-up and restoration of heritage buildings.
- Large project grants – funding of between $100,000 and $500,000.
- Projects will be eligible if they:
- Are located in the shires of broome, derby-west kimberley, halls creek or wyndham-east kimberley
- Have the primary purpose of addressing direct flood impacts from the disaster event
- Will be completed on or before 30 december 2025
- Are not eligible to receive reimbursement under an insurance policy
- Do not address flood impacts or contribute to the goals of the agency
- Are not undertaking a procedure which the government would ordinarily carry out as part of normal business.
- Subsidies for air operators providing services to regional and remote locations
- Coworking space, learning and networking opportunities for early-stage founders in victoria
- Rebates for capital cost of small-scale, on-site recycling equipment or technology

- 4Prepare and write application: Address all selection criteria clearly (project details, government alignment, costs, outcomes, benefits); keep concise, factual, and compelling; validate for completeness.
- 5Review, approve, and submit: Proofread, get stakeholder sign-off, submit online via the portal before deadline (no late entries); expect eligibility check, merit assessment, and outcome notification.
