This program provides grant funding towards Low Carbon Liquid Fuels (LCLF) through the Future Made in Australia (FMA) Innovation Fund.

Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- The program aims to fund innovative projects specific to the lclf priority that benefit australia’s transition to net zero through the acceleration of commercial scale domestic production, pre-commercial technology demonstration and feedstock and supply chain enablement.
- Applicants must:
- Hold an australian business number (abn), and
- Be an australian entity incorporated under the corporations act 2001 (cth); or
- Be a corporate commonwealth entity, commonwealth company or government business enterprise as defined in the public governance, performance and accountability act 2013 (cth); or
- Be a body corporate or corporation sole owned or established by an australian state or territory (or a subsidiary of such); or
- Be an australian local government or council or an australian organisation that is purposed with representing and supporting local governments or councils; or
- Be an australian university or other form of research institution; or
- Be an entity operating a cooperative research centre (crc).
- Loans for aboriginal and torres strait islander owned production companies
- Support for sustainable and climate friendly events in the act
- Incentives for nsw businesses to employ workers with a work related injury or illness
What the funding covers
- Funding of between $1 and $15 million.
How to apply
- 1Confirm readiness: Ensure you meet criteria (e.g., ABN, turnover limits, GST registration), align project objectives with grant goals, and estimate time for evidence gathering and writing.
- 2Gather evidence: Collect documents like financials, business plans, market research, project budgets, resumes, risk analysis, and support letters to prove capability and impact.
- 3Register/log in: Obtain an Australian Business Number (ABN) if needed, sign into the relevant portal (e.g., Business Grants Hub portal), and note any prerequisites like advisory service reports.
- 4Prepare and write application: Address all selection criteria clearly (project details, government alignment, costs, outcomes, benefits); keep concise, factual, and compelling; validate for completeness.
- 5Review, approve, and submit: Proofread, get stakeholder sign-off, submit online via the portal before deadline (no late entries); expect eligibility check, merit assessment, and outcome notification.
