Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Commercial horticulture businesses in the gnangara groundwater allocation plan area.
  • Local growers in the defined area can access vouchers to engage certified irrigation specialists to:
  • Design efficient irrigation systems
  • Provide written advice on technologies, soil amendments and cropping strategies to improve water use efficiency within their enterprise
  • Develop soil amelioration plans and options to improve soil health.
  • Own, share-farm or lease a property that you use for commercial horticulture production (lessee of property must provide landlord consent in writing)
  • Have a commercial horticultural property located in an eligible groundwater subarea, and is subject to the 10% reduction to groundwater abstraction from 2028 under the
  • 2022 gnangara groundwater allocation plan
  • Conduct the majority of your primary production business in western australia
  • Operate as a sole trader, partnership, trust or private company
  • Hold a current australian business number (abn) and are registered for goods and services tax (gst).
