Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Victorian music festival organisers.
  • This grant program aims to support the economic sustainability of ticketed contemporary music festivals in victoria:
  • With a capacity of 1000+ attendees
  • Run by experienced and established victorian festival organisers with a proven track record.
  • Funding can be used for costs associated with the planning and delivery of the festival, including:
  • To be eligible, you must be an experienced organiser of ticketed contemporary live music festivals which:
  • Are located in victoria and hold an australian business number (abn), registered in victoria (and held that abn at 1 march 2026)
  • May include promoters, not-for-profit organisations, artists/bands or other music industry businesses and organisations
  • Have the rights to deliver a live music festival in victoria with an in-person capacity of over 1000 people.
  • Festivals@musicvictoria.com.au
  • Loans for commercial and industrial energy customers for energy efficiency initiatives
  • Funding for nsw businesses to maximise energy usage
  • Funding for small businesses, not-for-profits and primary producers impacted by tropical cyclone alfred

What the funding covers

  • Funding of up to $50K per festival.

How to apply
