This program provides NSW companies with funding to commercialise innovative and new products or processes.

Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- 2 funding streams are available for the 2025-2026 program and have been designed to reduce financial barriers and foster greater participation from under-represented groups:
- Stream1 is available for all eligible businesses with a maximum grant of $50,000 and a minimum co-contribution of 50%.
- Stream 2 is available for eligible women-owned businesses, regional businesses, and aboriginal and/or torres strait islander businesses with a maximum grant of $75,000 and a minimum co-contribution of 25%.
- Have an australian business number (abn)
- Hold intellectual property (ip) or rights to commercialise your product
- Have an aggregated turnover of $400,000 or less in each of the 3 financial years prior to the lodgement of your application
- Have 10 or fewer full-time equivalent (fte) employees, including founders.
- To be eligible, projects must:
- Be directly related to the pre-market development and commercialisation pathway of your product
- Involve progressing your product along the technology readiness level (trl) scale between 3 and 9
- Demonstrate why the project would not proceed in nsw without government support
- Be completed within 12 months of funding, minimum project period is 3 months.
- Funding for businesses and individuals wanting to strengthen relations with korea
- Funding for corporations to undertake clean energy projects
What the funding covers
- Funding from $20K to $75K (depending on funding stream).
How to apply
- 1Confirm readiness: Ensure you meet criteria (e.g., ABN, turnover limits, GST registration), align project objectives with grant goals, and estimate time for evidence gathering and writing.
- 2Gather evidence: Collect documents like financials, business plans, market research, project budgets, resumes, risk analysis, and support letters to prove capability and impact.
- 3Register/log in: Obtain an Australian Business Number (ABN) if needed, sign into the relevant portal (e.g., Business Grants Hub portal), and note any prerequisites like advisory service reports.
- 4Prepare and write application: Address all selection criteria clearly (project details, government alignment, costs, outcomes, benefits); keep concise, factual, and compelling; validate for completeness.
- 5Review, approve, and submit: Proofread, get stakeholder sign-off, submit online via the portal before deadline (no late entries); expect eligibility check, merit assessment, and outcome notification.
