Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- Nsw small businesses.
- The natural disaster loan provides low interest loans to small businesses directly affected by a declared natural disaster.
- The loan is intended to help small businesses:
- Return to their normal level of trading or until the next major income is received within 12 months from the date of disaster
- Replace and repair damage caused and associated improvements not covered by insurance.
- Loans of up to $130,000 over a period of 12 years are available.
- Have fewer than 20 full-time (or equivalent) employees
- Have assets that have been significantly damaged as a direct result of the declared natural disaster
- Have suffered a significant loss of income as a result of direct damage from the declared natural disaster
- Hold a current australian business number (abn) that was active at the time of the declared natural disaster
- Demonstrate the long-term viability of your business and the ability to repay the loan
