Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Sheep and goat producers and licenced stock and station agents in nsw.
  • Rebates are only available for new eid handheld readers (i.e. stick or wand readers). second-hand or used items are ineligible under this program.
  • Have an australian business number (abn)
  • Operate as a sole trader, partnership, trust or private company
  • Have a bank account with an australian financial institution
  • Not have received funding under a previous round of this scheme
  • If a producer, have a nsw property identification code (pic)
  • If a stock agent, have a valid and current nsw stock and station agent licence.
  • Rebates for vic drought impacted farmers to help them control kangaroo numbers

What the funding covers

  • 50% rebate on the cost of eligible items, up to $1.5K (GST exclusive).
