Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Small businesses impacted by the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.
  • Overview
  • Funding is available to help pay for clean-up, repairs, replacement of lost or damaged stock, or loss of income due to business disruption resulting from the terrorist attack.
  • Check if you can apply
  • To be eligible, small businesses must:
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • have an aggregated annual turnover of more than $75,000 for the year ended June 2025.
  • To apply for the
  • initial payment
  • , your small business must have:
  • been located and operating in the
  • impacted area
  • at the time of the terrorist attack
  • had a valid and active Australian business number (ABN) on 14 December 2025
  • employed less than 20 full-time (or equivalent) staff at that time.
  • To be eligible to make a
  • second claim
  • , your small business must be able to show that it suffered business disruption because of the terrorist attack.
