Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- Applicants must:
- Be able to demonstrate a market for their product or service
- Have either commenced generating revenue or can demonstrate customer validation and evidence a route to revenue generation
- Hold less than $250 million in assets
- Not be a publicly listed company, unless that company will be delisted within 12 months of the investment being made
- Have 50% of their assets and 50% of their staff located within sa during a period that ends 12 months from the initial investment date.
- Funding is not available to companies whose predominant activity is:
- Property development or land ownership
- Finance (other than finance technologies)
- Insurance (other than insurance technologies)
- Construction (other than construction technologies)
- Sponsorship for events that support the promotion of trade and investment in wa
- Assistance and support for businesses affected by natural disasters
- Asset write-offs for businesses
