Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

Tasmanian apprentices and trainees.
Overview
The contributions are designed to assist with the cost of travel and accommodation, but may not cover full costs. The allowances are only available to apprentices and trainees who are on a
training contract
registered in Tasmania.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, an apprentice or trainee must:
have an active registered training contract as prescribed by the Training and Workforce Development Act 2013
be a Tasmanian resident
be undertaking an entry level qualification required for the apprentice or trainee’s occupational outcome
be required to travel to attend training and/or assessment as scheduled in their training plan.
