Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Australian and International productions, and Victorian screen practitioners.
  • Overview
  • VicScreen is Victoria's creative and economic screen development agency. VicScreen invests in the development and production of film, television, online, virtual reality and digital games projects and offers incentives for production, post-production, animation, visual effects and games to generate production activity and employment in Victoria.
  • They also support skills development opportunities to continue to grow the screen industry in Victoria and partner in the delivery of world-class screen events for Victorian creators and audiences.

  • Most of VicScreen’s funding programs have standard eligibility requirements outlined below, but applicants should check the specific program guidelines for further details.
  • An individual applicant must:
  • be an Australian citizen
  • be an Australian resident, being a person who is lawfully domiciled in Australia, and who has actually been in Australia, continuously or intermittently, for at least six months immediately preceding their application
  • meet the eligibility credit requirements set out in the relevant program guidelines.
  • An applicant that is a company must:
  • be incorporated and carrying on business in Australia
  • have the eligibility credit requirements as set out in the relevant program guidelines or employ (on the project which is the subject of funding application) a key creative who meets the credit requirements.
