About this grant

This program helps eligible business owners save water and save on their water bills by improving water usage efficiency.

Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

• Small businesses that are barwon water customers.
• Rebates are available to help barwon water business customers install water efficiency products or services, including, but not limited to:
• Data loggers (digital meter)/sub-metering
• Have a property connected to mains drinking water
• Be a barwon water customer whose property is charged a non-residential water charge
• Have a current australian business number (abn)
• Have 50 or fewer full time equivalent (fte) employees.
• Funding to repair, replace or improve public boating infrastructure in nsw
• Financial support to hire an apprentice

What the funding covers

• Rebates for 50% of the total expenditure up to a maximum of $1.5K per property.

How to apply

4. 4Prepare and write application: Address all selection criteria clearly (project details, government alignment, costs, outcomes, benefits); keep concise, factual, and compelling; validate for completeness.
5. 5Review, approve, and submit: Proofread, get stakeholder sign-off, submit online via the portal before deadline (no late entries); expect eligibility check, merit assessment, and outcome notification.
