About this grant

Clusters should focus on regional economic growth through applied Research & Development (R&D). You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for AHRC funding.

Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

• Must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for AHRC funding
• Applicants must have received an invitation to apply following a successful outline application.
• Organisations with standard eligibility are eligible to apply.
• Organisations based overseas may also be eligible to apply.
• Applicants must meet the organisation eligibility requirements for the funding opportunity.

How to apply

1. 1Confirm that you are the project lead.
2. 2Sign in to the Funding Service or create a new account.
3. 3Select your organisation, verify your email address, and set a password when creating an account.
4. 4Complete the application questions in the Funding Service.
5. 5Upload any required supporting documents according to the Funding Service instructions.
6. 6Review the application in read-only view before submission.
7. 7Submit the completed application to your research office for checking.
8. 8Make any necessary edits requested by the research office.
9. 9Have your research office submit the final application to UKRI.
