Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Own and live in a flat, OR rent any residential property
  • Own eligible vehicle on OZEV-approved list
  • Home must have private off-street parking
  • Cannot have already claimed this grant or predecessors (EVHS/DRS)
  • Not moving house
  • Use OZEV-approved installer and chargepoint

What the funding covers

  • 75% off cost to buy and install socket, up to £350 (£500 from 1 April 2026)
