Provides mandatory targeted intervention to schools Ofsted has identified as needing to improve, acting as catalyst for collaboration and improvement.

Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- Schools previously due to receive structural intervention after 1 January 2025 but had intervention revoked
- Stuck schools - graded Requires Improvement or equivalent at most recent Ofsted inspection, also graded below Good at previous inspection and still within same structure
- Schools contacted directly by RISE regional team if eligible
What the funding covers
- Targeted intervention for 12-24 months
- Support from high-quality organisations with strong track record (LA partnership or MAT)
- Grants available to fund supporting activity
How to apply
- 1Eligible schools will be identified through Ofsted judgements. These schools will be contacted directly by RISE regional teams. There is no application process.
