Eligibility requirements

All of the following criteria must be met:

  • Must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for EPSRC funding
  • Can only apply if invited following successful outline application
  • Invite only opportunity

  • Supporting people to manage their own health
  • Novel techniques for early diagnosis
  • Total funding: £37.5 million - £62.5 million FEC available
  • Maximum award per project: £12,500,000 FEC (EPSRC funds 80% of FEC)
  • Public and patient involvement and engagement (PPIE)
  • Translation and skills development
