About this grant
Apply for funding to run a high throughput screen (HTS) using AstraZeneca's compound library and screening robots. There are two funding opportunities per year that are open to all targets.

Eligibility requirements
All of the following criteria must be met:
- Must be based at an eligible organisation
- Research applications led by commercial entities are not eligible
- Project leads at international research organisations not eligible (except MRC Unit The Gambia or MRC/UVRI Uganda Research Unit at LSHTM)
What the funding covers
- Access to over two million molecules in AstraZeneca's compound library
- Use of AstraZeneca's screening robots
- FEC up to £270K (£250K cost to MRC)
- Duration typically 15 months (12-18 months range)
How to apply
- 1Confirm you are the project lead
- 2Sign in or create a Funding Service account
- 3Select your organisation verify email and set password
- 4If organisation is not listed email support@funding-service.ukri.org
- 5Allow at least 10 working days for organisation to be added
- 6Create an organisation Administration Account if requesting organisation addition
- 7Administration account needed for acceptance and management of potential grant
- 8Answer questions directly in text boxes
- 9Save answers and return later if needed
- 10Work offline and copy paste answers back into system if preferred
- 11Upload documents only when requested following Funding Service instructions
- 12Use How to apply section for questions and assessment criteria guidance
- 13Review application in read-only view before submission
- 14Send completed application to research office for checking
- 15Research office may return application for edits
- 16Research office submits checked application to UKRI
