How to apply
- 1LSIMF is open for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and applicants must submit an EOI form to begin the process.
- 2For queries, applicants can contact LSIMF@officeforlifesciences.gov.uk.
- 3The LSIMF application process consists of three main parts.
- 4The Expression of Interest (EOI) stage evaluates basic eligibility and alignment with fund objectives.
- 5EOIs are accepted on a rolling basis but do not constitute a full application.
- 6Eligible EOI submissions will be invited to the next stage.
- 7The health resilience assessment evaluates the health resilience benefits of the project.
- 8Application form 1 is opened quarterly and invited applicants must describe health resilience benefits.
- 9Application form 1 is assessed by a panel of cross-government officials.
- 10Applicants will be invited to a panel interview to present their project and its health resilience benefits.
- 11The panel interview includes a presentation followed by a Q&A session.
- 12The interview panel consists of manufacturing experts assessing project benefits.
- 13The financial and economic assessment is the next stage after health resilience evaluation.
- 14Application form 2 is for applicants successful in the previous stage.
- 15Application form 2 includes questions on eligibility, company details, project specifics, financials, markets, economic impact, and risks.
- 16Applicants must provide supporting documents to verify financial position, eligibility, and project viability.
- 17Due diligence assesses value for money, subsidy compliance, and project deliverability.
- 18Due diligence also evaluates employment outputs and applicant’s ability to finance the project.
- 19Additional documentation may be required during due diligence.
- 20Applicants must ensure all information provided is accurate and up to date.
- 21Applicants must ensure their proposal meets eligibility and scope criteria.
- 22Applicants must complete all sections of the application forms.
- 23If multiple collaborators are involved, all must complete their assigned sections.
- 24All collaborators must accept the terms and conditions.
