These partnerships aim to foster peer-to-peer learning and networking to address common urban challenges, ranging from digitalization and social inclusion to climate action and sustainable mobility. Successful networks will receive up to EUR 1,000,000 in funding to support their activities over a 30-month duration, starting in November 2026. Selected cities will gain access to the URBACT Toolbox, specialized thematic expertise, and training in participatory policy-making. Projects are expected to align with major European frameworks, such as the New Leipzig Charter, the European Agenda for Cities, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. By participating, cities can transform local practices into European showcase projects while contributing to the broader goals of EU Cohesion Policy and the Urban Agenda.
